I do not read to think. I do not read to learn. I do not read to search for truth. I know the truth, and the truth is hardly what I need. I read to dream!

Todays posts #1
I'm trying to find something new to do everyday. My aim is to create something no matter how small each day of my holidays. I'm feeling really physically drained at the moment, but I'm doing my best to force myself out of bed early in the morning.
I've got a fair bit to share about what's been going on in my life recently but I don't want to make a massive post, so I'm going to make 3 posts on various aspects.
In this one I'll simply tell you all about my new pet.
Gorgeous little ratty Wolverine!! He's utterly adorable and spoilt rotten with treats.

Lively Animal

http://xiaocaca.deviantart.com/art/here-is-my-lively-animal-197804623
I had to share this piece I found whilst browsing dA. It's so oddly serene, but haunting... It really speaks to me, as I'm sure it will to alot of others. The pastel colours are so alluring, and the use of texture makes the piece so much more interesting.
Full view it for the true impact.

The negative and the positive...
It's funny how people can change other people over time. It's funny how people who you thought were there for you can screw you over in a second.
I was led awake this morning unable to sleep at 5am, with the Simpsons pointlessly playing on my tv, thinking of such matters. And about how hard it is to stay positive. Why is it that when your life is finally going to plan, something/someone will ruin it for you??
Some things to be positive about for me are;
Work - which is going well, and I'm getting along with all my colleagues really well.
Matt - Things are just going superbly in this area.
School - I have done over 10 pages of prep work in my sketchbooks for both my creative subjects. And I'm really proud of all of it.
My nan - This week has made me realise how much I depend on my nan, and that I can always count on her. But more importantly than that, that she will always believe in me and trust me. See logic and common sense when it appears to desert others.
I recently watched POTC4, which I thought was really good, I've heard alot of negative comments about it. But people had too high a expectations for this movie. Of course it wasn't going to be like the first 3, they were going more fantasy, and giving more 'Jack' than ever. Combine this with a few other movies, some good music, current reads; such as, 'Fire'...and I'm being provided amazing tools for escapism from all the negative in my little corner of the world.

For any girls out there...
...who suffer from bad PMS, here is a small charm to help you get on with life and alleviate pain. All you need is a few moments to yourself and a pointed quartz crystal. Carry the quartz throughout the whole duration of your period after empowering it with the following chant;
"Stone of Moon and Tide and Sea,
Chase pain and bloating far from me.
All menstrual symptoms, now relieve,
As I will, so mote it be."
Chase pain and bloating far from me.
All menstrual symptoms, now relieve,
As I will, so mote it be."
It's worked wonders for me in the past, so hope it can help a few more out.
Octopus picture
I'm going through a really big octopus/kraken phase recently. Isn't the above picture amazing?!
When I have more time, I shall inform you of the most amazing weekend I just had. Chepstow just had its' first official Steampunk event. Waltz on the Wye, and it was amazing. Photos to come asap.
