Dresses and Books :)

So, so, so! I have started the first dress for my new series of photos, and am honestly loving the outcome! I am stormed through making this dress (with some help from my production team) and it's taken me a really short amount of time, which gives me hope we can do this shoot fairly soon.

Also, BOOKS! I have read so much recently. I started the 'Blue Bloods' Series by Melissa de la Cruz. It was alright, nothing really special...but I'm continuing the series, just to see if it gets any better. I understand the emphasise on money and brands in the book, but it's still almost too much.
I also read 'This Dark Endevour; The apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstien', which was really enjoyable! Obviously it wasn't true to Mary Shellys original novel, but it was still good. Written abit too childlike, considering the topic, but otherwise an interesting story, with a good plot and interesting twists.
And lastly, I have almost finished 'The Hunger Games', I'd heard nothing but good things about it, so picked it up on Tuesday. And I definatley wasn't dissapointed! I love it, and can hardly put it down. Well written, tense, well paced, good writing, multi-dimensional characters - simply wonderful to find in a book. I just wish I'd brought the second and third book, when I'd picked up the first! :D

5 years!

So yesterday was  mine and my fiances' five year anniversary!

it feels like forever, and at the same time no time at all. He has been my rock for 5 years...pretty much saved my life...he is always encouraging me, and spoiling me...I'm one lucky woman!

Big Things!!

So, yes, big things are on the horizon!
What started out as four images I needed to shoot, has become 7, and is soon to become 10.
My models are lined up and waiting in the wings! Me and my production team are working feverishly to produce dresses and props! Between the months of March and September, these big photoshoots will be taking place. The biggest I've ever attempted!

So guys, I've been doing some shoots with SweetDelirium Jewellery this last week, some of the outcomes were really nice. Here are two for you to nosy at...

I have been planning some big shoots for around May, they will happen, but don't hold your breath, the planning is going to be rather extensive. I'm looking for six models for five shoots, think big guys...think big!

At my mums, waiting for my dinner to be cooked, I come down occasionally for food and to watch 'Come Dine With Me'.  I haven't eaten yet today, and my mouth is watering.

LUSH!!

I'll be honest and tell you all I had almost forgotten about dear old Lush and how much I loved it...

But after going to London, and searching up and down Regent Street for it, I fell back in love, hard! Like a love stricken teenager, who's been in a long distance relationship!

I spent so much money in the 50% off sale, buying my good old favourite 'Snow Fairy', and purchasing some gorgeous new stuff.

One of my new favourites is 'Glogg'!! Smelling like Mulled Wine and Cinnamon, it really makes the bathroom smell amazing, and makes my skin super-soft. I also got some 'Jilted Elf Jelly', 'Rockstar Soap', 'The Godmother Soap', 'Angels Delight Soap', 'Dear John Perfume', and 'Bubblegum Lip Scrub'.

I am planning another shopping trip there asap, to get some 'Happy Hippy Shower Gel' and 'Flying Fox Shower Gel'. I'm also dyeing to get my hands on a 'Pheonix Rising Bath Bomb' and the 'A French Kiss Bubble Bar'!!

Got my little bit of cash stashed away, just waiting for pay-day now, and then I'll be taking a trip to my nearest Lush shop.

I love everything they stand for, everything being ethically sourced, and vegetarian at the least. All the natural elements they use...I'm trying to cut all the synthetic, unhealthy cosmetics out of my life. I also got a load of natural bath gift sets from Matt for xmas, so I am well on my way, to healthier, glorified skin!!!
